National Playday Wednesday 3rd August

At MonLife we believe that “Play is magical… It is our duty to provide a platform for children and young people to flourish through inclusive and enriching play activities.” Take a look at our activities happening across Monmouthshire as part of MonLife’s Extraordinary Summer and Summer of Fun.

Summer of Fun provides free and funded activities made possible with financial investment from the Welsh Government.

Caldicot Castle & Country Park – FREE ENTRY

Explore the vast grounds with friends or family and let your child’s imagination take them on a wild adventure chasing dragons, hunting for bugs or go on a scavenger hunt around the trails. Take a picnic and enjoy the fresh open air. There’s also a playground for more adventures and the chance to make new friends.

Take some time to explore the castle and climb the towers. Find the banqueting hall and dress-up in medieval costumes, make merry with musical instruments, lay the table for a medieval banquet, and sit at high table like the Lord and Lady of the Castle in our fabulous medieval hats.

Younger children can have fun making potions, wands and dragon eggs!
